December 30th, 2009: Sunny, High 30° Low 23°,...
1. Made it to my third serving of fruit on Day 2 of The Cleanse before I threw in the towel. 2. And I am totally okay with #1. 3. Discovered “Launch My Line” fulfills about 70% of my Project Runway withdrawal. 4. Finally forced myself to be satisfied with my Royal Flush seat on the 3rd redo. 5. Hank sat on my lap for over an hour.

1. Made it through Day 1 of this stupid cleanse. 2. 2 more days of this stupid cleanse. 3. Got myself a Tax ID number. 4. I didn’t gain as much weight as I thought I did. 5. Forgot how good 28 Weeks Later is.

1. Lenny made it the entire way home without puking. 2. So did I. 3. Got everything I need for my three-day detox. 4. Got the check I was waiting for. 5. It’s such a relief to be home.

1. Got some good pics of the Town Lyne for our motel review (coming soon) 2. Gorgeously sunny and in the 40s. 3. I have become a really good iphone typist. 4. I have continued to stuff myself but so far clothing still fits. 5. 2 new Globe Magazine puzzles.

1. It only took 2.5 hours to drive to New York instead of the expected 4.
2. My cold reduced itself 75% after sleeping the whole way to New York.

1. Fistmas 2009 2. Spontaneous punch was a success as to previous years’ spontaneous punches. 3. Actually got things cleaned up without the help of Vivian Cleanhouse. 4. Favorite part of the night = Deb opening her Gaga Glasses. 5. Best frozen cheese sticks and poppers I’ve ever had.

1. Discovered in last night’s dream that Scott Baio is a really nice guy. Very helpful and polite. 2. Made a pork loin. And fresh asparagus. Like a grown-up. 3. I’m so caught up on things I’m not sure what to do with myself. 4. Easily fixed a seat that could have really been screwed up. 5. Got my camera to take good pictures.

1. Finally got my hair cut. 2. Wrapped all available Christmas presents. 3. Thanks to my sister, got a really good gift for my dad. 4. Christmas shopping = DONE. 5. Cleaned out clutter so our apartment doesn’t look like a frat house… Sort of.

1. Finished 3 more “projects.” 2. Didn’t forget I had an 8:45am doctor’s appointment. 3. ”Actual work hours” went by quickly. 4. Finished 2 sudoku puzzles while waiting in line at the post office. 5. I didn’t get out of line at the post office and got my postcard stamps.

1. Heatmiser on repeat (for about 30 minutes) 2. 75% Xmas shopping done. 3. Lady Gaga has a Christmas song. 4. Got our Christmas cards ordered. 5. Wine makes headaches go away.

1. Enthusiastic cat greeting. 2. Not too wiped out to work on my toilet seats. 3. Cranked out some Wonderland mockups. 4. Hilarious CSI episode - until I fell asleep during it. 5. Was expecting our calzone to show up in 40 minutes. It got here in 20.

1. Read “Dry” from start to finish. 2. Cow-shaped waffle and bacon for breakfast - courtesy of Weston. 3. Wine REALLY helps headaches. 4. A vomiting event occurred, and I SURVIVED IT. (Granted, it was not my vomit.) 5. Secret Santa gift exchange.

1. I’ll admit it - Radio Christmas music makes me happy. 2. Got to shop at Michael’s on Jon’s card. 3. Got stuck going up an icy 1.5 mile hill in New Hampshire. 1. Work provided me with 5 extra hours. And went by fast, as much as I dreaded it. 2. Successful meeting with Dr. M. 3. Custom seat order - WOOHOO (need more of these.) 4. Bison burgers and weird new game at Anne and Kyle’s. 5. Had a few glasses of wine since I don’t have to work tomorrow. (inadvertently delayed posting.)

1. Vivian Cleaned House. 2. Felt like crap, but on the plus side got to stay in bed and watch bad tv all day. 3. Hank and Lenny are holding hands while they’re sleeping. 4. Christmas tree is lit and decorated. 4. Elf. That movie gets me every time.

1. Sold a seat I had in stock - WOOHOO 2. Got our Christmas tree 3. Went to Playtime Crafts (who has the worst website ever but a decent store if you like sifting through thousands of crafty things) and they didn;t have the spray I wanted. So I bought a brush-on glaze to try instead and I FUCKING LOVE IT SO FAR. 4. Watching Anne at Jacques. 5. Marty getting the Pussy treatment at Jacques.

1. Had a list of 14 things to do. Accomplished 8. 2. Sandie brought over chocolate. 3. Cooked the chicken before it was too late. 4. Made it until 5pm on 1/2 an xsnack. 5. My new toothbrush is awesome.
December 3rd, 2009: Sunny, High 69°
1. Lenny loves me so much he kept me up all night. 2. I was really good at the dentist. Didn’t even need novacaine. 3. Dad filled my gas tank to surprise me (thanks Dad!) 4. Bypassed a panic attack via a few crossword puzzles at the Sturbridge Rest Area. 5. Chilled on the couch family-style and watched tv.

1. New custom seat order. I now feel justified to raise my custom rates. 2. Did yoga. 3. Ran errands and was able to enter every store without a panic attack. 4. Caught up on all my False Positive entries. 5. Got my cats back.

1. My Harrington’s On the Hill Secret Santa gift arrived. 2. I finished everything I needed to at Beacon. 3. Boloco dinner - Teriyaki chicken wrap rocked. 4. Caught up on Criminal Minds and various CSI episodes. 5. Found a good gift for my Fistmas Secret Santa.
November 30th, 2009: Back to Boston
1. Jon did not even feel like throwing up. 2. Hopefully left Andy and Essie disease-free and disinfected. 3. Emergency row = I love legroom. And when I don’t have to perform an emergency function. 4. Time traveled from Dallas to Boston. 5. Unpacked the same day we got home, instead of leaving the full suitcase in the middle of the floor for a week.
